The New Enhanced Features of Lotus Domino 7.0.2

The combination of IBM Lotus Notes and Domino has long been recognized as the market leader in integrated collaborative environments to provide messaging, calendar, and collaborative applications. Always on the road, don't want to carry a laptop with you? Take your Lotus Notes desktop with you on a memory stick

Travel for business and leave your computer behind. Lotus Notes 7.0.2 software lets you copy your Lotus Notes desktop (not just your files) to a Universal Serial Bus (USB) device the size of a pen. Then plug the device into another Microsoft Windows workstation having a USB port and, with a simple click, launch Lotus Notes software. It’s that simple!

Lotus Notes software need not be installed on the destination machine. A simple click launches Lotus Notes software from the device and places an icon on the desktop for your convenience. No files are left behind – desktop shortcut will be deleted when the device is removed from the system. If the destination machine has access to your company intranet, this feature can provide a fully connected environment. And for machines without virtual private network access, you can still use Lotus Notes software in offline mode, in the same way you would use a laptop on an airplane.
